| Summary | 0001380: [Smart3][BTF] HDMI signal out when HPD is low before sleep and wakeup | ||||
| Description | Hi Kerwin This issue has been reported from skb. https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/BFXBTF-331 [ Test version ] v15.531.18/19 [ issue information ] Error occurs when STB wakes up while HPD to low. [ reproduce step] 1. STB ON, TV ON 2. STB ON, TV power plug off (HPD low) 3, STB OFF, TV power plug off (HPD low) 4. STB ON(wake up) HPD high 5. TV power on [ expect result ] When the resolution is automatically set, it appears to be the highest resolution. [ test result ] It is set to 1280x720p resolution due to EDID error. ============================================================================= As a result of my test, the cause of the issue seems to be caused by STB setting HPD to 1 unconditionally when STB waking up. Please check the issue. Thank you YK.Jung | ||||

According to the design of SMART 3, when the EDID BlockCount is equal to 0, it will be set as the default HDMI output, so the HDMI output will be set to 720P. Jerry |

Hi Jerry STB should not read the EDID in the above situation 4) STB can't read edid properly because the TV can't operate If the STB is set to auto, it should be set to the best resolution. Thank you YK.Jung |
